	Dr. Jill E. Barksdale, Optometrist Dr. Barksdale enjoys all aspects of the Optometric profession. She opened her downtown location on January 5, 2004, prior to that she practiced in Cleveland, Ohio, Bedford, VA and Bonsack, VA. Dr. Barksdale graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Biomedical Science Degree and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry. She thoroughly enjoys life and helping to improve the vision of people.
	Bill D. Thomas, Optician Bill has been in optics all his life. After 30 successful years of owning and operating Lake Drive Opticians in Vinton, VA., he decided to join the Barksdale Vision Center team. Bill's vast experience as a long-term optician helps him to fulfill his passion in life which is meeting people, making sure their needs are met, and spreading happiness.
	Timberly A. Martin, Practice Coordinator Timberly possesses over 20 years of customer service experience and is responsible for a host of office activities. She is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely reliable. If she says she will do something, you can rest assured that it will get done. Essentially, she is the "glue" that keeps it all together. You’ll recognize her friendly voice right away as she is the cheery person who always answers the phone with a smile.
